The Institute of Public Relations,
Ghana is a professional body for Public Relations
practitioners in Ghana.
Our role is:

To provide a professional
structure for the practice of Public Relations.
- To enhance the ability and status
of its members as professional practitioners.
- To represent the interest of its
members.
- To provide opportunities for
members to meet and exchange views and ideas
- To offer a range of service to
benefit professional and individual members
The Institute of Public Relations,
Ghana was established in 1972 as the Public Relations
Association of Ghana (PRAG).
PRAG was re-organized and a new Constitution and Code of
Ethics as adopted on
December 6th 1991 which transformed PRAG into Institute
of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR).
IPR was consequently registered as a professional body
under the Professional Bodies Registration Decree, (NRCD
143) of 1973.The Governing Council headed by a
President, holds office for a period of 2 years. |
